The Robert Bishop Research Files contain research material related to Bishop's research and teaching interests in folk art, particularly furniture. Abstract
This collection contains three whole plate tintypes (8.5" x 6.5"). They are portrait photographs, depicting a single woman, a single man, and a duo of younger women respectively. There is very little provenance for these items at this time. The photos depict individuals that appear to be from the 19th century, however the date that these photos were taken or created is unknown. All three tintypes are hand-tinted or painted.
